The Check'In Infra 2 Plus is the Check'In model with the most features. It is capable of detecting vibrations, but also movement and light. To avoid false alerts (e.g., scooters passing over the telecom chamber), it only alerts you when two or three parameters (vibrations and/or movement and/or light change) are combined.
For ease, it is recommended to complete the installation of the Check'In Infra 2 Plus and test it before installing it in its final position (for example, when you are at the office).
Testing my Check'In Infra 2 Plus at the office
1 Once you have finished installing your Check'In Infra 2 Plus, place it in a dark place (box, cupboard, drawer). Make sure it is in the dark.
2 Wait for 2 minutes. During this waiting time, make sure that the Check'In Infra 2 Plus does not experience any vibrations (do not move the box, do not bump the drawer...).
3 Open the container in which the Check'In Infra 2 Plus is placed wide open.
4 Move your hand 5-6 times over the motion sensor. The LED on the Check'In Infra 2 Plus should light up red. If not, move your hand over the sensor again.
5 Give a few small taps on the Check'In Infra 2 Plus.
6 You should then receive a notification on your phone informing you that the Check'In Infra 2 Plus has detected an intrusion.
7 If this does not happen, go to the event history of your Check'In Infra 2 Plus to check if the sensor has detected a break-in. The alert is displayed as a red circle containing the icon of an open door. Next to it should be, in parentheses, the two or three detection parameters (e.g., Brightness + Vibration).
If your Check'In Infra 2 Plus has detected an intrusion, make sure that your phone has sufficient network coverage to receive notifications and that the contact provided during installation or in emergency contacts is indeed yours. You can find the contacts associated with the Check'In Infra 2 Plus in the Check'In Pro app as well as in the Dashboard.
- In the Check'In Pro app: tap on the sensor file. Check in "Users" and "Notifications" that your phone number and/or email address appear in one of them. Also, make sure that the buttons next to them are red and activated.
- In the Dashboard: tap on the sensor file, then click on "Contacts" to verify that your phone number and/or email address appear correctly. Also, make sure that the buttons next to them are red and activated.
8 If no event is reported 10 minutes after testing your Check'In Infra 2 Plus, press the button three times on the right side of the sensor to force a connection. Wait a few minutes, then check the event history of the Check'In Infra 2 Plus. If your sensor has detected an intrusion but you did not receive a notification, refer to step 7.
9 If the Check'In Infra 2 Plus detected only one parameter or no parameters appear in the history, proceed with the sensor test again. Ensure you follow steps 1 to 5 above (wait long enough, pass your hand 5-6 times over the motion detector, tap the case around ten times...).
💡 You must insist on each step. In the event of a real break-in, the telecom chamber is closed for much longer than 2 minutes, and the taps are harder, and the movements more frequent than during the test!
Test my Check'In Infra 2 Plus on-site
1 Once your Check'In Infra 2 Plus is installed in the infrastructure, close the structure.
2 Wait 2 minutes. During this waiting time, ensure the Check'In Infra 2 Plus experiences no vibrations (do not step on the cover...).
3 Give one tap on the structure.
4 Open the structure wide open.
5 Pass your hand 5-6 times over the motion detector.
6 You should now receive an alert on your phone notifying you that the Check'In Infra 2 Plus has detected an intrusion.
7 If this is not the case, go to the event history of your Check'In Infra 2 Plus to check if the sensor has reported a break-in. The alert is displayed as a red circle containing the icon of an open door. Next to it should be, in parentheses, the two or three detection parameters (e.g., Brightness + Vibration).
If your Check'In Infra 2 Plus has detected an intrusion, ensure that your phone has enough signal to receive notifications and that the contact indicated during installation or in the emergency contacts is indeed yours. You can find the contacts linked to the Check'In Infra 2 Plus in the Check'In Pro app and in the Dashboard.
- In the Check'In Pro app: tap the sensor file. Check in "Users" and in "Notifications" that your phone number and/or email address appear in one of them. Also, ensure that the buttons next to them are red and activated.
- In the Dashboard: tap the sensor file, then click on "Contacts" to check that your phone number and/or email address appear. Also, ensure that the buttons next to them are red and activated.
8 If no event is logged 10 minutes after testing your Check'In Infra 2 Plus, open the casing and press the button three times on the right side of the sensor to force a connection. Wait a few minutes, then check the event history of the Check'In Infra 2 Plus. If your sensor detected an intrusion but you were not notified, refer to step 7.
9 If the Check'In Infra 2 Plus detected only one parameter or no parameters appear in the history, proceed with the sensor test again. Ensure you follow steps 1 to 5 above (wait long enough, pass your hand 5-6 times over the motion detector, tap the case once...).
💡 You must insist on each step. In the event of a real break-in, the telecom chamber is closed for much longer than 2 minutes, and the taps are harder, and the movements more frequent than during the test!
