Once the Check'In Pro 2 is installed, a test is necessary. Here is the simplest way to perform a break-in test:
Vibration Detection
1 Exit the secured area and close the door. Wait one minute (this is the delay during which the Check'In Pro 2 detection is paused).
2 Give strong knocks on the door (either 5 slow knocks or 15 rapid ones).
3 An audio message will then announce: "Warning, this site is secured, the siren will sound in a few seconds...".
4 Once the audio message ends, the microphone records a 15-second audio clip. The siren then sounds for three minutes.
5 Simultaneously, depending on your preferences, you will receive a notification on your smartphone, and/or an SMS, and/or an email. The alert screen in the Check'In mobile app allows you to turn off the siren.
Here is a video explaining how to trigger an alert:
Motion Detection
1 Close the door of the secured area but stay inside. Make sure you are in a spot where the motion detector cannot see you (go, for example, to another room).
💡 If you cannot see the motion detector, it means it cannot see you either!
2 Wait for the delay after opening to expire. By default, the delay is 15 minutes, but you can modify it to be between 0 and 90 minutes.
💡 To make changes via the Check'In Pro app: tap on the sensor’s profile, then go to "Settings" > "Motion Detection Settings" > "Delay After Opening". Select the delay of your choice and tap "Validate". For the new delay to be applied immediately, press the Check'In Pro 2's button three times to force a connection. Then, reset the Check'In Pro 2 by pressing and holding the alarm button for 9 seconds and releasing it once the light turns red. You will hear a "beep", indicating the Check'In Pro 2 is reset. Once the red light disappears, press the Check'In Pro 2's button twice to reactivate the sensors. Don’t forget to open and then close the door before testing the Check'In Pro 2 again. Then, repeat steps 1 and 2.
💡To make changes via the Dashboard : enter the IMEI of the Check'In Pro 2 in the search bar. Once on the sensor’s profile, select the "Settings" menu, then "Settings". Scroll down to the "Motion Detector Settings" section. Select the delay of your choice and click the "Save" button below "Detector Sensitivity".
