To make your Check’In Pro 2 operational, it is important to follow all the steps outlined below:
Getting Started with the Check’In Pro Application
1 Download our Check’In Pro application from App Store or Play Store.
💡 Do not insert the batteries into your Check’In Pro 2 yet! This will be prompted later during the installation process.
2 Open the Check’In Pro application. Enter your email address and password, then tap on “Login”. If you don't have an account yet, ask your organization's administrator to create one for you.
3 Once in the main menu of the application, tap on the red button “+”.
4 Scan the QR code located on the back of your Check’In Pro 2, below the battery compartment, so that it is recognized by your application.
5 Make sure the IMEI, i.e., the serial number of the Check’In Pro 2, is correct. If so, tap on “Continue”.
6 Set the name and type of use for your Check’In Pro 2, as well as the type of door on which the sensor will be installed.
7 Select whether it is a vacant or occupied room.
8 Your Check’In Pro 2 is now configured on our server. When the "Successful Activation" page appears, tap on "Got it".
Device Installation
It is now time to install your device! Your application displays the list of steps to follow. By tapping on one of them, you can watch a video explaining the procedures. Here are all the steps:
1 Insert the batteries, respecting their polarity (positive side and negative side), then assemble the support for your Check’In Pro 2 as illustrated in the application.
2 Using the degreasing wipe included in the Check’In Pro 2 package, clean the surface of the door on which you will install your device. It should be located about 10 cm below the door lock.
3 Remove the protective covers from the two adhesives of the Check’In Pro 2, then stick the device on the door. Keep your hand pressed on the Check’In Pro 2 for 15 seconds to ensure adhesion of the housing to the door.
Device Startup
1 Once the Check’In Pro 2 is installed on your door, it will automatically connect to the 4G LTE-M or NB-IoT network.
💡 Be patient, this may take up to 10 minutes!
💡 If, after this time, your Check’In Pro 2 does not emit white light, reset it. To do this, press the button located on the right side of the Check'In Pro 2 for about 9 seconds. The LED will turn red and you will need to release the button. You will hear a beep, indicating that the Check’In Pro 2 will be reset and restarting. If you do not hear a beep, repeat the procedure.
💡 You have the option to run the installation in the background in order to proceed with the installation of other Check'In Pro 2. Once the connection is established, the 📶 icon will turn green. Tap on the sensor card to resume the installation process.
2 It is now time to activate the sensors of your Check’In Pro 2. To do this, and following the instructions in the application, press the button on the right side of the Check’In Pro 2 twice quickly. You will hear a melody, indicating that the sensors are activated. The Check’In Pro 2 will automatically start the calibration process.
💡 Be careful not to touch your door while the Check’In Pro 2 is calibrating!
3 Follow the various steps detailed in the application (open the door, close the door...).
Emergency Address and Contacts
1 In the application, and once the above steps are completed, add the postal address where the Check’In Pro 2 is installed.
2 Once done, you have the option to transfer access rights to your client. If you choose to do so, the person to whom you have transferred the rights will receive an email inviting them to take possession of the Check'In Pro 2 access.
💡 They will need to accept the access request for you to no longer be the administrator of the Check'In Pro 2.
3 You can now add up to 2 emergency contacts by tapping on “Add a contact”. Fill in the required information (specify if it is an on-call number or not), then tap on “Validate”.
Your Check’In Pro 2 is now installed and operational! 🎉
