Generally, you just need to follow the steps indicated in the following articles to install your Check'In Pro 2:

However, in certain situations (e.g., in basements or in the countryside), the lack of network may disrupt the installation of your Check'In Pro 2. If this is your case, we invite you to start the installation process in a place with a better network. Then calibrate your Check'In Pro 2, once you are at the installation site.

Steps to follow in a place where the network is sufficient:

1 Complete all the instructions described in the "Getting Started in the Check’In Application" part of the above articles.

2 Insert the batteries into your Check'In Pro 2.

3 Skip the rest of the steps indicated in "Device Installation" by tapping on "Continue".

4 Wait for your Check'In Pro 2 to connect to the network (this may take up to 10 minutes).

💡 If, after this time, your Check'In Pro 2 does not emit white light, reset it. To do this, press the button on the right side of the Check'In Pro 2 for about 9 seconds. The LED will turn red and you should then release the button. You will hear a beep, indicating that the Check'In Pro 2 is reset and restarting. If you do not hear a beep, repeat the procedure.

5 Skip steps 2 and 3 of the "Activating the Device" section by tapping on "Continue".

🚨 As long as you are not on site, do not activate the sensors by pressing the Check'In Pro 2 button twice! Skip this step as well as those asking you to open and close your door.

6 Continue the installation tutorial until the end.

7 Once the tutorial is complete, and according to your availability, go to the place where you want to install your Check'In Pro 2.

Steps to follow once on site:

1 Install your Check'In Pro 2 on its support (as indicated in the "Device Installation" part of the two Help Center articles).
2 Tap the Check'In Pro 2 button twice to activate the sensors. You will hear an activation melody.
3 Wait 10 seconds.
4 Open your door wide, then close it.
5 Press the Check'In Pro 2 button three times to initiate a connection. Once the connection is made, the opening and closing of your door will appear in the history of your application.
6 Your Check'In Pro 2 is now ready to use! 🎉
