What is the purpose of the Check'In 2 alarm?
The Check'In 2 alarm is a device consisting of a Check'In 2 connected box and two mobile applications: Check'In and Check'In Pro. Equipped with built-in artificial intelligence, the Check'In 2 alarm protects the locations to be secured by detecting suspicious vibrations and alerting before a break-in occurs.
The Check'In 2 box is autonomous and does not require connection, electricity, or Wi-Fi. It operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. It can be installed in the most remote areas where the network is weak (e.g., countryside, cellar...) and is compatible with all types of doors: single doors, Sitex doors, garage doors...
How does the Check'In 2 alarm work?
The Check'In 2 box is equipped with a SIM card that relies on LTE-M and NB-IoT networks to communicate with the Artifeel server and mobile applications. It operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, thanks to two CR17500 3V Li-MnO2 batteries with a lifespan of three years.
The Check’In sensors continuously analyse the vibrations affecting the door on which the box is attached. They use built-in artificial intelligence to differentiate between a normal opening and an attempted break-in. Therefore, no activation or deactivation is needed, the monitoring is permanent.
When an intrusion attempt is detected, a pre-recorded voice warns the burglars that the site is protected. A 15-second audio clip is then recorded before the alarm sounds for three minutes. At the same time, you are notified of the break-in attempt on your phone (via the app you have downloaded and/or by SMS and/or email).
What is the difference between the Check'In 2 alarm and the Check'In alarm?
The Check'In 2 alarm offers significantly better performance than its predecessor, Check'In. It benefits from improved battery life thanks to new components that extend the battery lifespan. Its connectivity is also improved, with two major new features: the Power Saving Mode (PSM) and an external dual SIM system.
The PSM speeds up network connections, reducing the time needed for data transmission and, consequently, for sending alerts. Thanks to the dual SIM, the Check'In 2 alarm can connect to two different telecom operators, ensuring extended network coverage, even in the most remote areas.
