If your Check'In detects an intrusion attempt but does not notify you, the following steps can help:
1 Ensure your Check'In has the latest update. To do this, open your Check'In app and select your Check'In. If your device is not up to date, you will find a yellow box on the "Summary" page inviting you to update your Check'In.
2 Ensure that your Check'In has detected a break-in attempt. For the Check'In and Check'In Pro 2, if you have activated the feature, an audio message followed by a siren should be heard.
💡 To be certain that the siren is activated, go to your Check'In app and tap on "Devices" > your Check'In > "Information". The circle next to "Siren activated" should be on the right of the box, which itself is orange. If this is not the case, tap it to activate the feature (note that you will need to wait for the next connection of the Check'In or press the button on the box three times for the update to be taken into account).
3 Check that you have activated the notifications you wish to receive in your Check'In app. To do this, go to "Devices" > your Check'In > "Information" > "Notifications". If you have selected SMS and/or email notifications, also ensure that the phone number and email address are correct.
4 Ensure that the notifications from the Check'In app are enabled on your phone.
🍎 For iOS users, go to "Settings" > "Notifications" > "Check'In". Ensure that the "Allow notifications" feature is enabled. If you want to be notified at any time of the day or night, also enable the "Critical Alerts" feature.
🤖 For Android users, go to "Settings" > "Notifications". Enable notifications by tapping on the slider next to "Check'In". The button will turn blue and the slider will move to the right.
