If your Check'In detects an intrusion attempt but does not notify you, the following steps can help you:
1 Make sure your Check'In has the latest update. To do this, open your Check'In Pro app and go to the "Search" menu. Search for your Check'In in the search bar, then select your sensor's file. If your device is not up to date, you will see a yellow box inviting you to update your Check'In.
2 Make sure your Check'In has detected an attempted break-in. For the Check'In and Check'In Pro 2, if you have enabled the feature, an audio message followed by a siren should be heard.
💡 To be sure the siren is activated, go to your Check'In Pro app, then to the "Search" menu. Search for your Check'In in the search bar, then tap on its file. Select "Settings" > "Alert Settings". The circle in front of "Siren" should be on the right of the box, which itself is orange. If it is not, tap on it to activate the feature (note that you will have to wait for the next connection of the Check'In or press the button on the box three times for the update to be taken into account).
3 Check that you have activated the notifications you wish to receive in your Check'In Pro app. To do this, go to the "Search" menu. Search for your Check'In in the search bar, then tap on its file. Go to "Notifications". If you have selected SMS and/or email notifications, make sure the phone number and email address are correct.
4 Make sure that the Check'In Pro app notifications are enabled on your phone.
🍎 For iOS users, go to "Settings" > "Notifications" > "Check'In Pro". Make sure the "Allow Notifications" feature is enabled. If you want to be notified at any time of the day or night, also enable the "Critical Alerts" feature.
🤖 For Android users, go to "Settings" > "Notifications". Enable notifications by tapping the slider next to "Check'In Pro". The button will turn blue and the slider will move to the right.
