What is the hub?
The hub integrates the Thread protocol and allows you to connect your Check'In to a Wi-Fi network. Thanks to it, your Check'In remains connected, even in areas where LTE-M or NB-IoT mobile network coverage is limited.
You can pair one hub with multiple Check'In devices, and connect multiple hubs to the same Check'In. Once connected, the Check'In operates in the same way as if it were connected to a mobile network: you are notified of events (intrusion, Check'In disconnection, etc.) by SMS and/or email.
How does the hub work?
The hub operates using a power cable plugged into an electrical outlet and a Wi-Fi connection.
It features a button that allows you to connect it to your phone via Bluetooth or reset it. Its LED, located in the center of the front panel of the device, indicates its status (on, Bluetooth mode, resetting).
To install the hub or pair it with a Check'In, go to the Check'In Pro application.
❗ Currently, hubs can only be used via the Check'In Pro application. The feature will soon be available on the Check'In application.
In the event of hub disconnection (for example during a power outage), the Check'In automatically switches to the LTE-M or NB-IoT mobile network to ensure service continuity.
At the same time, you are notified of any disconnections and reconnections reported by the hub via SMS or email.
