What is the Check’In Infra 3 + alarm used for?
The Check’In Infra 3 + alarm is a device composed of a connected Check’In Infra 3 + unit and a mobile application: Check’In Pro. Equipped with embedded artificial intelligence, the Check’In Infra 3 + alarm protects secured areas by detecting suspicious vibrations, sudden changes in light, and movements. It triggers an alert as soon as an intrusion occurs.
The Check’In Infra 3 + unit is autonomous and requires no wiring, electricity, or Wi-Fi. It operates 24/7, every day of the week. It can be installed in remote locations where network coverage is weak (e.g. countryside, basements, etc.) and is compatible with all types of sites: telecom rooms, street lighting poles, and more.
How does the Check’In Infra 3 + alarm work?
The Check’In Infra 3 + unit is equipped with a SIM card using LTE-M and NB-IoT networks to communicate with the Artifeel server and mobile applications. It operates 24/7 thanks to four CR17500 3V Li-MnO2 batteries with a five-year lifespan.
Using embedded artificial intelligence, the Check’In Infra 3 + sensors continuously analyse vibrations affecting the protected site. In parallel, they monitor ambient light and detect movements occurring in front of the unit. There is no need to activate or deactivate the alarm; monitoring is continuous.
It is possible to customise the Check’In Infra 3 + alert settings. Depending on your preferences, the Check’In Infra 3 + can trigger an alert if two or three events are detected within a two-minute window. You can find more information in this article.
When an intrusion attempt is detected, you are notified on your mobile phone (via the app you have downloaded and/or by SMS and/or by email). The Check’In Infra 3 + can also be connected to a monitoring centre or an internal supervision centre.
What are the differences between the Check’In Infra 3 + alarm and the Check’In Infra 2 + alarm?
The Check’In Infra 3+ alarm features new temperature and humidity sensors, providing additional information about the environment in which the device is installed. The motion sensor has also been improved, and the internal wiring attachment optimised. Finally, we have simplified the Infra 3+ by removing the battery extension board and moving the button to the top of the electronic board.
