If your Check'In appears as disconnected, it means its last function check failed. Events occurring after the previous function check will not be displayed in your application or on the Dashboard. To bring your Check'In back online, follow these steps:
1 Press the button on the right side of the Check'In three times. This will force a connection and the sensor's LED will flash slowly in blue/white. Wait about 5 minutes before checking your Check'In event history in your application or on the Dashboard. A function check and the latest Check'In events should appear in the history.
2 If your Check'In remains offline, check that the batteries are sufficiently charged. If not, replace them with new batteries of the same model (CR17500 3V Li-MnO2). You can obtain them by contacting us here.
💡 You can find your Check'In battery level in your application or on the Dashboard.
- In the Check'In app, tap on your sensor's info card. The battery level is displayed above the box indicating the number of openings for the day or month.
- If you are using the Check'In Pro app, tap on your sensor's info card. The battery level is displayed above the list of various menus.
- If you are using the Dashboard, click on your sensor's info card. In the "Summary" menu, you will find the "Battery Level".
💡 For the Check'In and Check'In Pro 2, if your sensor is in Standard mode and the siren is activated, you can also test the batteries by testing the Check'In. To do this, tap the sensor about ten times until the LED lights up in green. Once the Check'In detects an intrusion attempt, an audio announcement will warn that the site is protected. If the sound quality is poor, it means the battery level is too low.
3 Remove and then reinsert the batteries in your Check'In. The sensor's LED should soon flash slowly in blue/white, indicating that the Check'In is searching for a connection.
💡 If, after waiting for a minute, the LED does not light up, it is likely that the batteries are too weak. Refer to step number 2.
