If you receive multiple "Check'In fallen" notifications in the same day or over several consecutive days, here are the four possible causes:
Incorrect Check'In calibration
The calibration step during the Check'In installation was not performed correctly (for example, the door was moved during the process). Wait 4 hours for the Check'In to recalibrate automatically. You should then stop receiving notifications.
Check'In's mount not properly secured
During installation, the door surface may not have been cleaned properly, or the Check'In's mount was not pressed firmly against the door for the recommended 15 seconds. As a result, the Check'In detached by itself. Someone will need to go onsite to reattach it properly.
Check'In not attached to the door
If you complete the calibration step during the installation but do not place the Check'In against the door (e.g., the Check'In is left on your desk), you will receive drop notifications. Reset the Check'In by pressing its button for 9 seconds, until the LED flashes red. This will deactivate the sensors. Reactivate them by pressing the button twice quickly once the Check'In is placed on the door. It will recalibrate automatically.
Break-in at the protected site
If an intrusion alert followed by a door opening appears in your app or in the Dashboard, there is a high chance that an intruder entered the protected site and detached the Check'In. A visit on site is necessary to assess the situation.
