In general, your Check'In Infra automatically updates as soon as an update is available. However, it may happen, especially if the network is not sufficient, that the update does not occur automatically.
In that case, open your app. Find the Check'In Infra you're interested in, then tap the box inviting you to update your Check'In Infra. Follow the instructions displayed in the app. Your sensor will download the latest Check'In Infra update.
If, for any reason, you're unable to update your Check'In Infra, here are the steps to follow:
1 Make sure that your phone's Bluetooth is enabled and that you are close to your Check'In.
- For iOS users : you can enable your phone's Bluetooth by going to your device's "Settings", then "Bluetooth". Slide the button next to "Bluetooth" to the right to activate it. The circle will move to the right, and the rectangle containing the circle will turn green.
- For Android users : you can enable your phone's Bluetooth by going to your device's "Settings", then "Bluetooth". Slide the button next to "Bluetooth" to the right to activate it. The circle will move to the right, and the rectangle containing the circle will turn blue.
2 Make sure that the LED on the Check'In Infra is slowly blinking blue. If not, press and hold for about three seconds the button located on the right side of the sensor. Release once the LED on the Check'In turns blue.
3 If the update fails during download, restart it. It will resume from where it stopped (for example, if it failed at 56%, it will restart at 56%). If it happens again, repeat the step until it reaches 100%.
4 Make sure that the batteries are sufficiently charged. To do this, go to your Check'In Infra's profile in the app or in the Dashboard to check its battery level.
💡 Here are the steps to find the battery level of your Check'In Infra:
- In the Check'In Pro app: tap on your sensor's profile. The battery level is shown above the list of different menus.
- In the Dashboard : click on your sensor's profile. In the "Summary" menu, you'll find the "Battery Level".
5 If the situation persists, a reset of your Check'In Infra may be necessary. Cancel the update download, then press and hold the Check'In Infra button for nine seconds, until the LED turns red. If the LED does not blink red, repeat the procedure. Once the reset is complete, wait 30 seconds, then tap again on the box inviting you to update the Check'In Infra.
