If you are testing your Check'In Infra 2 Plus and it does not detect an intrusion attempt, here are the steps to follow:
Make sure you have followed the steps described in this article.
Ensure that your Check'In Infra 2 Plus has the latest update. To do this, open your Check'In Pro app and select your Check'In Infra 2 Plus. If your device is not up-to-date, you will find a yellow box prompting you to update your Check'In Infra 2 Plus.
To allow the Check'In Infra 2 Plus to detect a change in brightness, ensure that it is in darkness for two minutes before fully opening the opening. During this waiting period, do not touch the Check'In Infra 2 Plus.
Give at least one tap on the hatch or tap 4-5 times directly on the device casing.
Pass your hand 4-5 times over the movement sensor. The LED should blink red. If it does not, check that the movement sensor is in good condition and that the ribbon cable is properly connected. Also, ensure that the battery dedicated to the movement sensor is properly positioned and sufficiently charged.
If the issue persists, a reset of your device may be necessary. To do this, press the button on the right side of the Check'In Infra for 9 seconds. The LED will light up red, indicating that the device has reset. Wait until the LED stops blinking red before resuming the test.
