If you notice that one of your Check'In has been stolen, the first thing to do is to contact Artifeel's customer service so that we can suspend the use of the Check'In.
How to locate my Check'In?
If you wish to locate the Check'In (for example, if you are working with law enforcement), wait for the next function check following the intrusion. Then, follow these steps:
1 Go to the Artifeel Dashboard, then to the page of the Check'In.
2 Select the "Diagnostic" menu and look for the information listed next to "MCC"; "MNC"; "Cell ID"; and "LAC". If you are working with law enforcement, provide them with this information so they can locate the antenna to which the Check'In last connected.
3 You can also visit websites such as OpenCellid to find the antenna. Enter the "MCC", "MNC", "Cell ID", and "LAC" data, then click on "Search".
💡 The antenna will indicate an area of several square kilometers where the stolen Check'In is located. It is not possible to pinpoint the device's exact location.
❗ If the intruders have destroyed the Check'In or removed its batteries before the next function check following the intrusion, the Check'In will go offline and will no longer be able to connect to an antenna. It will therefore not be possible to determine its new location area.
